The group's principal activities are to manufacture and supply transportation equipment and to provide services to the railroad and related industries. The group operates in two segments: manufacturing segment and leasing and services segment. Manufacturing segment produces double-stack intermodal railcars, conventional railcars, marine vessels and industrial forgings. Leasing and other related services segment performs repair and refurbishment activities for both intermodal and conventional railcars. The customers of the group includes class i railroads, regional and short-line railroads, other leasing companies, shippers, carriers and other transportation companies. Ttx and bnsf are the major customers of the group.
